Got that new kitchen table, so now it's time to accessorize.

56 at noon on Thursday Feb 26 with a heavy overcast and light rain .... today's forecasted high reaching 59 before dropping back to an overnight low of 46 .... rain moving in and out for the rest of today .... just returned from a 50+ mile round drive to take stuff our daughter needs to take one of the children she is fostering to a medical appointment this afternoon .... nothing scheduled for the rest of today

35' and sunny hazy. Should be sunny all day and maybe 54. Spring must be close. We've had Canadian Geese fly over and there are a few cherry/plum blossom trees in bloom. And the grass is begging to be mowed.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Ain’t that the truth. We have a free standing gas range with a microwave above it. She want’s to replace the microwave with a hood and move the microwave to another location. This will require a lot of electrical work plus cabinet work. A whole lot of work and expense for little gain. Grrrrrrrr
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Little gain for some, but for others lifting dishes in and out of a raised microwave oven can be anywhere from a pain (arthritis) to a serious burn risk (poor dexterity possibly resulting in dropping a hot dish right onto your body). That said, when we did that same conversion, the microwave we removed (because it died) had the over the stove fan built in to the bottom that pushed the air around the microwave and up in to the ductwork to the roof. We just had to buy a new range hood; the electrical and venting was already there.
