Re: Cow Country
Extra help was good, although with the cool day and wind blowing the cattle always move well.

More from Saturday. The mountains in the backgrounds of some are on the Alberta-Montana border. Enjoy!

Re: Cow Country
Wonderful photos and tales of riding the range. Thanks, RanchRoper. I enjoy them all.RanchRoper wrote:Some pics from today. I took a couple dozen and will post more once I sort them. It was a good day, extra help showed up. Cattle moved well. All of these will calve in the next week or so. The owner put off moving another bunch of cows and calves until later next week. This is 276 cows.

Re: Cow Country
Just had a "I'd like to see" thought on your last three pictures. I'd like to see these scenes in a video, and be able to hear those cattle "talking" to you as you're walking them across the plains. That would be mellow!
Thanks for the photos...always enjoyable to look at.

Great at work photographs RR. I almost feel that I'm getting saddle sore from looking at them. Almost.
