While it is clear this morning, it is just cold for this time of year here in Jonesboro. It is 41 at 8:30am. The good news is that the winds have died down. The afternoon winds have been kicking butt at the Masters. Be careful and stay safe.

A sunny, crisp morning in our neighborhood. It should be great weather for what will certainly be a huge crowd at the UCONN NCAA Women's Basketball celebration parade in Hartford. Four years in a row!!!

Another sunny day here. Taxes are done and I'm back to smashing fingers in the yard.

Mine too...

Today I'm rearranging my corrals a little so I can access my back pasture from the round pen through a ride-thru gate. Tomorrow I'm calling the RCMP local guy to see what the bylaws are here for shooting on my own property. Not sure. We don't live near town but do have neighbors. Most of my shooting will be done at the local range, but it would be nice to get my horses desensitized to it too. If it's not an issue, then I'll set up an area where I can pump some rounds into the manure pile or somewhere there's no chance of a stray bullet causing a problem.
