
Actually managed to get a consecutive serial number set of two of these Rodeos. They were on consignment at a local shop for a very good price. Both had been given a cowboy action shooting job at the factory and both are magnificent. (This one gets shot, but its twin stays in the safe, for now.) It's this very distinctive Colt feel and action that I wanted to add to my single action collection that is overflowing with Rugers. Love my Ruger SAs for the tanks they are, but nothing spells single action like that four click C-O-L-T action you get when cocking a Colt or a Colt clone.
And, of course, the Rodeo did not disappoint in the shooting department. Dead on, no sight hold or tweaking needed.

So, maybe I should start a category called Cowgirl Corner or something. Yup, peanut butter and jelly, Ma and apple pie and lever guns and six guns. What could be more American?
