Great meme vaquero

Here in the PNW it’s 34 and overcast. Decent day yesterday with some sunshine in the afternoon. Today will bring more rain but warmer temps in the low 40’s. Mild and rainy most of the week with temps back below freezing overnight later in the week. I’m going to watch the Seahawks take on the Falcons this morning but not sure what the afternoon will bring.

My son came over yesterday and we knocked out this simple but effective rack for my presto logs. It’s temporary and next spring I’ll unscrew it and have some lumbar scraps on hand. That’s always good.

Looks good. I burn presto-logs too.
It was -9F this morning.

38 right now heading to the low 40’s with more rain today and most of the week. The storm coming in today is bringing some winds. For my area it’s 25-30 sustained with gusts to 40. Not too bad but could cause some trees to uproot due to the saturated ground. If it were colder we would be measuring the snow in feet. I’m fine with the rain, no plowing required.

A couple small projects in the shop otherwise another day in the life.

It was 1 F when I took the dog out. It's a blistering 12 F now.
Coffee in the Farmall mug with gingerbread house cake this am.
I picked up a lithium battery jump pack. Going to charge it up and look over the instructions.

I hope you all have a great day.

I've had of those for a couple of years and they really work great.
I think everyone who lives in cold weather should carry one in their vehicle.

41 at 11AM and that's as high as they predict our temp will rise all day .... as was the case a couple of days ago, ice/snow is mentioned in today's forecast and is the case once again, changes are taking place .... last time schools started on a 2 hr delay .... this time they are going to let out 2 hr early .... "Snow expected. Total snow accumulations ranging from around half inch across the Triad and Triangle regions and up to 2 inches near the NC/VA border. Plan on slippery road conditions. In addition, any remaining snow or moisture on area roads and sidewalks will freeze, producing hazardous travel into Tuesday morning." .... while they could be right, I believe we wil get the cold but I tend to believe that the ice/snow will fall well north of us
