"rain, some heavy, and a thunderstorm; flash flooding from persistent downpours can lead to dangerous travel" .... predicted high 73 with tonight's low is anticipated to drop to 65 .... just returned from taking Maureen to a morning medical appointment .... we drove through some really heavy rain and are glad to be back home .... no plans to go back out today

61' with lite rain this morning. No real accumulation. So far just enough to keep the dust down. Later maybe 71' with a little bit more rain.

Back to the University today to do more concession stand cleaning. Helping out the neighbor because they take care of my house when the wife and I are gone for the winter. She does also pay me which is fine but has trouble finding help. Then tomorrow off to Laramie with a friend to go shooting for the weekend. Should be fun. 100 here today glad I will be indoors.

57 and misty out there. We had a good hard rain overnight which is most welcome. Possible more rain later today including thunderstorms. High in the mid 70’s is all but warming up back into the 90’s next week. I’m playing golf today so I hope the lightning stays away.

on the road again .... first up this morning a drive to an adjacent town where Maureen had an appointment with a retina specialist to get a shot in her right high .... yep, I cringe at the thought of it but she handles it well .... from there a direct drive to another town for a lead-up appointment related to her pending right knee replacement ..... its been a warm day, right now 73 degrees .... steady light rain has been falling all day .... is supposed to get down to 66 for an overnight low .... next up, picking a grandson up after school .... even though Maureen's Blazer gets good mileage, days like this sure shorten the time between having it filled with gasoline

49 this morning, first overnight temp in the 40’s since late spring. Took the dogs out and I could see my breath. As the Stark family in Game of Thrones say….Winter’s Coming.

Beautiful blue sky so we will warm up to maybe the low 80’s. Warming all weekend to highs in the lower 90’s by Monday. We’re heading up to the lake Monday and expect temps in the low 90’s for a couple of days then low to mid 80’s the rest of the week. Should be very nice weather.

NO RAIN TODAY .... thunderstorms predicted to return tomorrow afternoon and evening .... our son stores his boat in a shed at our place, he's already picked it up and is headed for a local lake .... Maureen and our daughter on their way for some morning shopping .... I have no plans to leave the Ponderosa today .... rather have several John Wayne westerns ready to watch
