71 at 10AM with a forecasted high of 73 before dropping back to an overnight low of 68 .... for most of the last week they have predicted today would be pretty much of a washout .... as late as a few hours ago there was a 90% or better chance of rain/storms given for every hour today through midnight .... the current weather radar shows rain/storms all around us but our immediate area is clear .... it appears that sooner or later we will get wet .... because of this forecast we haven't planned any activities that will require us to leave home today

Still trying to acclimatize after nearly 2 months working in Brisbane 1300km north and come home to winter.
Have gone from minimums around 60 and daytime temps in the mid 70's to maximums in the 50's and minimums in the low 20's.

A few Canadian engineers on the project who loved Brisbane's winter weather with it being warmer than the summer they had left at home

Maureen has a medical appointment this morning .... nothing else planned for the rest of today

After a few cooler day and overnight temps the next warm up has begun. 53 this morning. I put a sweatshirt on by habit but soon took it off as it’s pretty warm here in the house. Steady temp climb topping out on Monday in the low 90’s. Then cooling down thankfully towards the next weekend which is the weekend of our community yard sale. Cooler temps will be welcome by all.

Speaking of yard sales I’m getting back to it today. With our California trip being postponed I got caught up on a bunch of spraying and weed cutting I’ve been neglecting. Happy about that. :D

56' with high sunny haze this morning. Haze expected to burn off and maybe make 84' later. Expect to see mid-90's through the weekend with gradual cooling toward the end of next week, down to 68' for the high.

Up early this morning but it’s still 56 out there. A warm one for sure. High today should hit the mid to upper 80’s with 90’s tomorrow and Monday. Yuk.

My son is scheduled to have colectomy surgery this morning at 9:00. Looks like he will have the have the external collection bag installed. He’s had a run of bad luck for the last six months and this is the icing on the cake so to speak. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery and the reversal of the bag.

I had surgery last August and they told me I might wake up with a colostomy

81 here today and supposed to dry out. Our rain chances are slim to none for the next week. Maybe I can go shooting a couple times without getting muddy.

We're supposed to get 100 tomorrow, 102 on Monday and 98 on Tuesday, then cooling to the 80's and clear down to 75 by the following Monday. I'd be happy if it stayed at 75 for the rest of the summer.

Wet windy and cold, currently below freezing with a top expected to get into the 40's but rain and 20mph winds keeping the felt temp down.
Like I said having spent the past 2 months up north with the temp not dipping below 60 so struggling to acclimatize.

Ski season officially starts down under this weekend, up to 30" snow predicted for some resorts this weekend and falls down to 2500' so a chance of snow at the farm
