71 at 10AM with a forecasted high of 73 before dropping back to an overnight low of 68 .... for most of the last week they have predicted today would be pretty much of a washout .... as late as a few hours ago there was a 90% or better chance of rain/storms given for every hour today through midnight .... the current weather radar shows rain/storms all around us but our immediate area is clear .... it appears that sooner or later we will get wet .... because of this forecast we haven't planned any activities that will require us to leave home today

Still trying to acclimatize after nearly 2 months working in Brisbane 1300km north and come home to winter.
Have gone from minimums around 60 and daytime temps in the mid 70's to maximums in the 50's and minimums in the low 20's.

A few Canadian engineers on the project who loved Brisbane's winter weather with it being warmer than the summer they had left at home

Maureen has a medical appointment this morning .... nothing else planned for the rest of today

After a few cooler day and overnight temps the next warm up has begun. 53 this morning. I put a sweatshirt on by habit but soon took it off as it’s pretty warm here in the house. Steady temp climb topping out on Monday in the low 90’s. Then cooling down thankfully towards the next weekend which is the weekend of our community yard sale. Cooler temps will be welcome by all.

Speaking of yard sales I’m getting back to it today. With our California trip being postponed I got caught up on a bunch of spraying and weed cutting I’ve been neglecting. Happy about that. :D

I did get the front deck painted and all the slats for the last lawn chair.
Today I'll get the chair reassembled and start mowing lawn.
