Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
today has dawned as another beautiful day our neighborhood ... 57 early on its way to 86 later today .... with the rise in temp, late afternoon thunderstorms are supposed to follow .... no wind right now which is most certainly a change from the last week or so .... I've evidently developed an adverse reaction from the eye drops I have to use to control internal eye pressure .... so, a most welcome 4PM medical appointment with an ophthalmologist is the only one of the calendar for today ....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Had to get up at 4:30 this morning to get help get the sister-in-law up and to the hospital for lithotripsy on her left kidney. They're going to schedule another day to do the right. Anyway, didn't get to walk the dogs because went back to bed after helping the misses get her to the hospital. We have a thunderstorm moving through right now so can't do it now either. I had a late breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast and coffee.

No, the old one is in a shop having some body work done before it goes on sale. See, I am very embarrassed that
I creased the drivers side with a low post trying to get into a propane filling site, and the insurance covers it, so,
we'll get it fixed and the sell it.

Ahh heck we all mess up no need to be embarrassed. Getting those big rigs around can be a little tricky at times. my wife gets on me cause I get a little picky about how we plan and travel. But she aint drivin this thing I am so I like to scope out where Im going to go as much as I can. I also hate truck stops with a passion.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 2:10 pmNo, the old one is in a shop having some body work done before it goes on sale. See, I am very embarrassed that

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood:
Sunny, clear, a breeze out of the SW at 7 mph. Expected high of 75, overnight low was 51 and currently is 53. Heading to a granddaughter’s track and field day. Everyone have a great day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Had to get out of the house early this morning for my eye injections. The doctor says I can stay on the eight-week schedule! Having only to get them six times a year makes me happy. I stopped by the bank on the way home and made my last mortgage payment! That felt great. I did have a bowl of cereal with my coffee before leaving home. The weather was terrible with strong storms moving through. They have stopped for a brief time but we're supposed to be getting more in the late afternoon.

Wind Speed S 8 mph
Barometer 29.99 in
Chance of thunderstorms.
Highs in the mid 70s.

I got the yard half fertilized and seeded before I quit and went to the gun club.
Now it's raining so I wish I had got it all done.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
yet another beautiful day has dawned in central NC .... 58 degrees under a clear, Carolina Blue sky .... its supposed to get up to 81 later today with virtually no chance of rain .... for a change, we have several items on today's schedule .... one routine like hauling trash .... one that we really need to do more often .... that being visiting friends whose ability to live as they would like by serious health issues .... we are going to take our new grill and sit around and visit as lunch is cooked ....

It's 79° already at 9:00 in the morning. The humidity is high as well at 85%. There's rain coming again later in the afternoon. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fog/Mist, 61°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.99 in
Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon.
Highs in the lower 70s.
East winds up to 15 mph.
Coffee and cookies really taste good after not being able to consume them for a month.
I finished applying all the fertilizer and seed yesterday afternoon.
Today I'll be getting the mowers ready and then doing some mowing if the weather cooperates.
Carol has always pestered me to teach her how to run the chain saws. Oh Hell No!
She's a city raised girl and I was afraid she'd get hurt. Well, yesterday I bought her an electric
12 inch chain saw for Mother's Day. I couldn't wait so I gave it to her right away.
She was delighted. Now I just hope she doesn't get hurt.
