Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Moving a bit slow today. I just had some cereal and coffee this morning. It's getting hot. The current temperature is 92°. I haven't done much work today. A couple of clients dropped by. My youngest surprised me with tickets to see Carlos Santana tomorrow evening at the Cynthia Woods Pavillion. It will be a little warm but I think we can handle it.

Good morning, was 59 when I woke and we're headed towards the upper 70's.
Going down to the river to visit and look at a small job for another friend there.
I spent a chunk of change yesterday,
I bought a 357 New Vaquero from a friend down Texas way, should be to the ffl's mid week.
I also had the rear tire on the scooter replaced, and and all the fluids changed.
She be ready for the riding season.

Up early for church. We did get some nice rain the last couple of days which is good.
We journeyed south a hundred miles last evening for a family wedding. We were
the family elders and were treated as such. They placed our table closest to the food.
Speaking of that, young folks today seem to be pretty well fed compared to our era.
Hefty is the word.

The only patch of snow left on my property melted in the night and I am now officially snow free. There are still a few patches around the country side and big piles in town where it’s been plowed.

High today will finally hit 70 and the lows at night will be in the 50’s. WooHoo.

46 heading to 64 with a heavy overcast. No rain is expected to interfere with today’s Bloomsday 12K race/fun walk in downtown Spokane. Nearly 30,000 have pre registered not counting all the volunteers and spectators. That’s a mess of people congested into downtown plus there will be 1,000’s more strung out along the course. This mass of humanity has been going on since 1977 and I’m happy to report I have never been part of the crowd either as a participant or a spectator. For years tradition for me was to play golf as the courses were pretty empty on Bloomsday.

Not this year as today we are leaving here in a few hours for Banks Lake in central Washington State. The weather forecast for the week is mid 60’s to 70 with little chance of rain. Should be just about perfect to be out on the water, not too hot and not too cold.

Only 61 earlier this morning. High, close to 90 and humid. Summer just around the corner.

It was a warm 74° this morning at 6:30 or so. Humidity is already making even walking a bit bothersome. We have a rainshower moving through at the moment but it is supposed to be clearing out this afternoon. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Well, after church we've been going to the Chart House for Brunch.

It's a buffet and kind decadent at at that. The food is great and the service is as well. We've been going there for years now.
I had melon cubes, a shrimp cocktail, Salmon on cucumber, and strawberries to start off.
Then it was prime rib and a strawberry crepe with whipped cream.
Then a wonderful piece of cholate pie.
All this with either a glass of Champaign or a Mimosa.
Decadent at the least, but really good.
We are blessed and we know it.

happy to awaken to another beautiful morning in Central NC .... 67 on its way to 82 with a 70% chance of thunderstorms later this afternoon .... a morning grocery run, picking our 7 year old grandson after school and then taking him to a 6PM "Coach Pitch" baseball game are on tap for today .... hopefully we will learn something today from a repair facility as to the status of our truck that we use to tow our camper

Who do I complain to about the hot weather? It’s not brutally hot yet but I should put the window air conditioner up soon. The house doesn’t need cooling as much as it needs dehumidified.

Another warm morning today. Currently it's 79° at 9:00 a.m. It wasn't that much cooler on the dog walk this morning. I didn't eat breakfast, just coffee. My son and I stopped by a Denny's on the way back from the concert last night. He was hungry so I had an early morning breakfast.
