Back ordered 500 cases of 45 colt 3 days ago and they arrived on my porch about an hour ago. I am clearing my bench to load some up using 200grn Beery's made for 45acp with a hollow base. They mike .452 at the olgive and .454 at the base. They shoot well in my 1911's so I think I will give it a try. I am going to start with 6.5grns to 7grns of Unique. looking for a good light load for my 92.
leverjc, you might try 8.0gr Unique with those 200gr bullets. less case sooting and pretty darn good accuracy in my Henry. In a lever gun, not much recoil.

Loaded 30 rounds of .243 Win with RL15 and 80 gr. Barnes TTSX. Also, 25 rounds of .44 mag. with H110 and 240 gr. Hornady XTPs.
I had a couple of boxes of the 80 gr. TTSX from BP (before plague) and want to see how differently they perform (group and location-wise) than the 85 gr. Sierra GK. They've become pretty pricey since. I plan to shoot them slowly! :)

My best wishes to you! Cleaning, sizing, and trimming large loads of brass isn't the funnest part of loading. But you can be thankful you have so much!! :D

Loaded up 25 of these this evening. Lehigh finally came out with load data for their 300 grain penetraters in the 460 S&W mag. Should run about 1650 fps out of mine with a nice big spoonful of H110. Might have to shoot a couple in the dark just for the light show!

Those are both pretty and pretty deadly. Nicely done.

Yesterday I decapped and wet tumbled approximately 180 300 BO cases I recently shot working on a load. Here in a bit I’ll get them out of the water and let them dry for next time. I’m using the stainless pins along with a gallon of hot water, two tablespoons of Dawn dish soap and one teaspoon of Lemi-Shine dishwasher dish polish. Well, I pour water in until it looks right, squirt some soap in and pour some Lemi-Shine in. The measurements are what are called out but really I don’t need to be that specific. You just don’t want to make the drum too heavy or it will overwork the motor. The water sure is scummy when done and this brass wasn’t too dirty to begin with.

Yep, been using that method for a couple years now.
In that pic. those look like 35 Rem brass, with that slight neck. ;)
What is the parent case of the BO's?
