Range Report: berm test

I took a few scoops of dirt from where my campfire pit will be and dumped it behind the gongs at 50 yards. Then I plunked for an hour. Ten minutes worth of work and an hour of testing. I think that is about right.

I need to make a few dozen more scoops to get the berm high enough.

Off to a good start. Make sure you keep the work to testing ratio the same. Testing proves out the concept and assures the final product.

This it a telephoto view from the shooting line. The front targets are at 25 and the distance targets are at 50 yards.

I will some but only with a hand shovel. I’m getting the dirt from the backyard where my camping fire pit will go.

It will define the space instead of just having it in a big yard.
