I know its changed alot of peoples plans and Im sure RV sales will go down now because of it. The used RV market will be loaded with RV's no one wants anymore because of the fuel cost. Im still planning on coming back in Dec maybe we will see Coop down here. LGB

Oh, we'll keep traveling. It was just that there wasn't anything that interesting that I wanted to spend the time or
money on this trip. We've done the East coast so many times it's gotten boring.

Carol says she can just relax and do nothing, but she's misleading herself. She works every day with her lap top while
I'm just bored. I need some kind of activity, like fishing.

I got that way about Washington. There just wasn’t much that I had not seen a hundred times. I’ve only been to Wisconsin three times. One was in 1972 when I hitchhiked to NC, the second time when I spent three days here in 2017 picking up my teardrop and now.

Wind and rain most of the day yesterday, Wendy right now and continued wind with rain starting anytime. Dence clouds and fog. It’s sunup and still not very light out.

We were 62 yesterday and it won't reach 45 today. An all day rain on the way.
Got the RV winterized and put in the barn, so now all I have to do is putz in my shop.
We're back in our routine of lunch out and dinner at home. Comfortable.
We plan to open the season for our gun range on April 1, so skeet and trap will be back
for the Summer. The pistol and rifle range are open year round. The range is twenty
minutes from our house. I usually go once or twice a week with friends.

Tuesday morning a bunch of us meet to shoot rifles and pistols, and Wednesday afternoons
a larger bunch meet to shoot trap and skeet.
We have one skeet range, two trap ranges, and 20, 50, 100, and 200 yard ranges for rifles and pistols
with covers over the shooting positions. Nice. Also a pole barn for meetings and a camp ground.

38 heading to the upper 40 with sunshine in the forecast. So far as it gets light I’m seeing overcast and fog. Lots of humidity out there from yesterday’s rain.

It’s been two weeks since our pup’s neuter so today he gets to go back to doggy daycare. I’m leaving here shortly to drop him off. He should be a pretty tired pup this afternoon. He’s at that are where he has forgotten much of what he has learned and is a little bit too aggressive with play. He thinks we are dogs too and wants to jump and play bite. Hopefully he will get that out of his system today. From our reading this is pretty normal for a 8 month pup. We don’t recall either of our other two Goldens doing this but we probably just can’t remember.

Lots of thunder, rain, and wind this morning. Right now it's 70°and sunny. Just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. I wanted to recrown the 141 and ordered a pilot from Brownells for the crowning tool. I got it unpackaged this morning and found it wasn't going to fit so I just turned one out of brass stock on the lathe. It came out well. I'll pick up some bluing next time I go to the LGS. Now I've got some repair work to do.

59° and rain. Working on the 1st cup of coffee. Sausage eggs and toast. VA appt this this morning, so I get to play find the parking spot game. Finding a place to park at the VA takes longer than the appointment.

Hey Coop does your range sell ammo and loading supplies. The one here in Corpus does but there supply of 20ga struggles. Lots of 12 ga no primers and some shot and wads.

They have in the past but we're having the same problem getting supplies. I also belong to the Minneapolis Gun Club which is a shotgun range.

They have Skeet, Trap, Duck Tower, ect. They also sell supplies but have trouble getting stock. Usually in February they do a huge purchase and members can order cases of shells, powder, shot ect wholesale, but the last couple of years they couldn't do that either.

Both places purchase clay birds by the semi load.

There is not enough to plow so I guess I'll just work in my shop today.
I called my late cousin's widow last night for an hour. She lives out in the country
by herself and spent the entire Winter alone. Some days she was snowed in but she does
have a plow service. He died four years ago and I simply cannot fathom sitting alone all
that time. It doesn't seem to bother her though. I call her regularly.

48° this morning on the dog walk. It's currently 52° and sunny. Should be a very nice afternoon. Coffee, eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast.

36 heading to 56 and I can see some nice sunshine streaming thru the trees. Maybe a small disturbance tonight but the next several days are forecast to be like today. Hope so.

Planning on getting out and working on more clean-up. The last two days were cool with on and off rain. Not what motivates me to get out and be productive.

29F with about two inches of fresh snow. No wind which is the best part. I just stumbled out of bed and thinking about making coffee after watching movies till midnight.

we were jolted awake this morning by the tone of weather alerts coming from several different phones .... a Tornado was shown on radar to be just south of us and our home was well within the cone .... it doesn't take very long to get up and dressed at such times .... thankfully within a few minutes the local radar reports were showing it had missed us by several miles .... no reports of damage so we don't know if it was ever on the ground or not .... regular breakfast has come and gone, Folgers still actively flowing .... afternoon medical appointment in Raleigh on tap for this afternoon ... a couple of truck parts and one winch part due to be delivered later today

49°& cloudy. Breakfast and coffee are long gone. Now I'm waiting telephone call from the VA Doctor. I guess it beats driving in, but now I have to get on the treadmill. I thought I'd get out of that today > . Lots of work in tje yard today. Cheers!
