Morning, was 39, when I got up, it's up to 45 and headed toward the low 70's.

33° and sunny. 1st cup of coffee is down, dogs up and ready to go. Breakfast will be sausage eggs and toast.
Yard work cleanup tiday after lots of wind for several days. Anyone need several hundred pinecones ? Cheers!

Yeah, I picked up three contractor size wheelbarrow loads of them buggers myself yesterday. Got em piled and tarped just waiting for the next outdoor burn pile to get lit. Burn you little devils….

36 heading to 42 with a light rain which is going to continue for a few hours. Then the rest of the week is supposed to be sunny and warm with a few days maybe touching 60.

Supposed to be in the 60s this afternoon and then the cold rain moves in for the next few days.
I will winterize the motorhome today as it still gets below freezing around here, for a while yet.
We just chilled out yesterday. Church and then out for breakfast. Then I watched NASCAR.
The landscape looks dreary and dirty with the snow melting. The coming rain should clean it up.
The ice is still on the lake, but it looks like it's rotten. I wouldn't walk on it just now. On the trip
home the ice out isn't very far south of us. There are geese hanging around looking for open water.

Welcome home Coop. My neighbor returns home today from a couple of months in southern CA and Arizona. Too bad for him it’s a bit of a dreary rainy day for his return but he’ll enjoy the rest of the week.

It was 68° this morning on the dog walk with a sprinkle of rain. It' s uppose to rain quite a bit this afternoon with thunderstorm warnings. Cooked bacon, flapjacks and coffee for me. Made bacon and scrambled eggs for the sis-in-waw as her blood sugar was a bit high. Going to get a little work done today.

Welcome home Coop. My neighbor returns home today from a couple of months in southern CA and Arizona. Too bad for him it’s a bit of a dreary rainy day for his return but he’ll enjoy the rest of the week.

We came home early. It was a result of not wanting to deal with East Coast traffic and the price of fuel. When I left it cost about
50 cents a mile for fuel, but now it's close to 75 cents and who knows how high it will go. As it was we drove around 4000 miles and if we had continued we would have put on another 1000 miles.

The other thing was we had accomplished what we set out to do in that Carol had had a good visit with her brothers and sister in Florida and everything else on trip we had seen and done several time before. I got bored. If I'm going to live in the motorhome I want to explore new places, not visit ploughed ground.

As it is we were gone over a month and it is Spring after all.

Welcome home Coop. My truck gets 10mpg. It was 3.00 when I came down it was 4.86 when I just topped off the tank when I was in town for groceries. It takes 110 gal for me to get here. So its 220.00 more for me to go home 4/1. I dont like it anymore than anyone else does but I sure do want to keep coming back. I know its changed alot of peoples plans and Im sure RV sales will go down now because of it. The used RV market will be loaded with RV's no one wants anymore because of the fuel cost. Im still planning on coming back in Dec maybe we will see Coop down here.

Great to hear! I was wondering how ANY Scout, boy or girl could not be introduced to the sport of shooting. Although, what Al said would not surprise me these days.

Oh, we'll keep traveling. It was just that there wasn't anything that interesting that I wanted to spend the time or
money on this trip. We've done the East coast so many times it's gotten boring.

Carol says she can just relax and do nothing, but she's misleading herself. She works every day with her lap top while
I'm just bored. I need some kind of activity, like fishing.

47° and cloudy. Working on the 1st cup of coffee. Breakfast is on the way. I had 4 small yards cut down and a patch approximately 10' X 80' of brush and grape vines removed on our south property line. The cleanup is going to take me awhile to Finnish. Once completed I'll be taking my travel trailer out of the storage facility, and bring her home to tje new spot on my property. Anyway that's about it. Cheers!
