47° and clear skies this morning about 7 local time. It's warmed up to 58° and headed to somewhere in the low 70's with hardly any wind. The weather is supposed to be about the same tomorrow so can't wait to get to the range.

37F. I feel like I’m living in Alice’s Restaurant. I’ve been here for a month and haven’t made a garbage run. My garage is getting full. Fortunately most of it is recyclable cardboard.

I first saw Alice’s Restaurant at the Cam Ranh Bay Hospital in Vietnam in early 1970. It was far too late for any of us to sit on the Group W bench. There was the smell of stale perfume and everyone had a smile on their face. We would cheer one minute and then curse them the next for trying to avoid the Army.

I later saw the movie again back in the world and had a total disconnect with the audience.

Yeah, probably about 27 of them photographs……. ;)

Woke up to 31 and cloudy. Supposed to get a good soaking this afternoon and then starting tomorrow a nice spell of warm sunny days. Yippee.

Just got home from this little drive thru bakery down the road a couple of miles. On weekends they have this Carmel pecan cinnamon roll that’s incredible. Should have got a photo but it’s no longer in existence and is currently being digested. Yum.

41° and cloudy. It's going to be 60° and sunny later. Just started on the 1st cup of mud. Had a good time at the Hamfest, and picked up a few things. No plans for today except for picking up a bunch of pine cones from the wind we've been having. Lots of wind. The treadmill is calling. Cheers!

26 and very sunny heading to 46. Looks to be a good day to get outside and get something done. More rain coming in tomorrow with nice days beyond that.

The Gonzaga Bulldog men’s basketball team is heading to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. Two game played this weekend with very slow starts but a better effort in the second half to secure the wins. The Gonzaga women's team won their first game but next take on number 1 Louisville. Go Zags.

It was 48° this morning walking the dogs. Right now it's 75°. Wen to the range today with the 35 Remington and S&W 14. Did really well with the Smith but can't say that for the Remington 141. I like the trigger and not much recoil at all. The problem was I wasn't even hitting the target at 100 yards. I brought it back to 50 and figure out it was shooting way low. I finally got the last five shots closer to the BE after raising the rear sight but still not good enough. I filed down the front sight when I got it home and put white paint on it to see it better. I'll see what it does next time.
