Found my favorite Hornady bullets yesterday so I can use my shorty shells -
Testing a few out with the IMR 4895
Couldn't crimp em with the LEE Factory Crimper but fortunately the RCBS roll crimped em nicely

Loaded 3 different "development" loads for the .243 Long Ranger using IMR 4831 (substitute for my regular load using RL15) under a 90 gr. Sierra FMJ.
I usually make up my hunting loads with 85 grain Sierra Game Kings or Nosler BTs, but can't find any. These will be for paper. I'll go empty them as soon as the outside temp drops below 1,000 degrees!
The 7mm-08s shot beautifully (.780") with 45.0 gr of IMR 4350 under 120 gr Sierra ProHunters. (Savage 110)

Found RCBS .357/.38 die set on Offerup... 30 bucks and they are in excellent shape!
Just finished cleaning out the gunk and old oil. Only small blemishes (and this is my pet peeve) are Channelock marks on the lock rings. ugh!

Is the size die a carbide size die. If not you will be lubing all of the cases if thats a concern for you. You should be able to purchase a 357 carbide size die separate if you can find one.

It's the older 18206 set. I don't think its carbide but my runs are small for now.
I'll have to look into the carbide sizer

Yeah, what Al said. You'll want that carbide sizer, believe me. One oppsy with the older one, and you'll know why. Untill you find a carbide one, lube 'em.
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I agree on the carbide die. I also am a big believer on lee factory crimp dies. i have them for every caliber I reload.
