Yes, good luck finding the perfect place. I would love to move to Montana but it's just not feasible for me. I don't mind living in Eastern Washington but am kind of concerned about what is in store for the entire state with the power that King county holds over the state.

I’m waiting for the home in Fortine to drop below $500K. I think it’s overpriced now. I’m taking a chance no one will bid on a home 20 miles from Canada. It is in the middle of nowhere yet is near a couple hundred people.

I have PTSD and can’t live in a remote place without going off the deep end. I made a promise to a dozen other Vietnam Veterans I would not withdraw from society and must not break that promise.

I had a difficult time today remembering events and broke down and wept for a couple hours. I regret some of the things I did in Vietnam with every fiber of my being.

I’m okay now.

Looking is fun. Not finding anything isn’t.

King, Snohomish and Pierce counties rule the state. With people moving from the cities and going to rural areas that might change. This is how federal house seats changed after the 2020 census.

Agree with everything Dave says, particularly that we are enjoying this thread. It’s almost like doing a home search in Montana vicariously through Sir Henry’s search. Thanks for taking us along.

Everything is cool. Anything can trigger me.

Edit: now that I think about it it was a doctor visit to the VA Hospital that triggered me. It was something the doctor said. You would not normally link what she said as being a trigger. Like I said anything can do it.

They are both nice! Seems like you would have to hire a window washer for the one in Great Falls.
The other is nice as well, but, good question regarding the sink???

Yeah that sink position would be a deal breaker if the seller refused to fix it.
But maybe they reduced the selling price by $100,000 because of it.

I’m thinking it might just be a temporary home for me. I want out of this cesspool they call Seattle.
