It's 25° in the backyard under cloud covered skies. CT will get a bit of snow later today. The forecast is for 1-2 inches in my neighborhood.

I'll be making my usual breakfast in a little while.

It was 66 degrees here all night on the Gulf. Gonna be 70’s today with some sun. Just a couple things on tap today gonna wash the truck and go get a bottle from the trailer filled with propane. Have a great day

26 heading to 31 with a winter weather advisory in place for tonight into tomorrow. Only 2-3” of snow so not a big deal.

Mrs. hatchdog and I have physicals scheduled for this morning so currently fasting. Thankfully I can still have my coffee. Probably go by a drive-thru for breakfast as Washington State is still shut down for indoor dining. Sure would be nice to sit down to a nice breakfast on the way home.

Well, life has certainly changed. I am finally able to sleep all night, well except for bathroom time, and the diet seems to be helping.
Cold this morning, 12, calm, overcast. Predicted to stay cold and then warm up to snow over the weekend. Coldest part of the Winter.
At least it's above zero.

Folgers this morning, but since I cannot have milk or cream, Almond Milk instead. Not too bad.
A hard boiled egg, salt and peppered nicely, and plain yogurt which I can add berries to. I added
blue berries, black berries, and raspberries. I can have them because they are unsweetened.
The yogurt with the fruit in it is sweetened.

No night caps for a while and it takes a while to get to sleep.

I'll survive and look back on this as a test of will.

Oh man I'd like a chocolate bar and a martini and a ....

with our truck in the shop, we are using a Yota Corolla from Enterprise .... my first time driving one of these cars .... with it getting a bit better mileage than our truck, we plan to do some running around .... 55 on its way to 76 with very little chance of rain .... egg, cheese and ham omelet with bacon and sliced tomato on the side .... Folgers flowing freely

It was 59° this morning. Warmed up to about 77°. Contractors are here today breaking out walls so a lot of noise going on. Spent all day moving furniture around and getting kind of tired of it. Only got a few more pieces to go.

Supposed to be dusting snow blowing through this morning but so far nothing.. hope it stays that way. Been a .I'll winter so far and I'm liking that... coffee still good...

There are still a few flakes coming down, but the system has basically moved out to sea. We got about two inches overnight. The temperature in the backyard was 25°at daybreak and will only reach the upper thirties by the afternoon. Skies will be cloudy over CT today.

Windy here this am and 61 degrees headed to 70 later on when the wind gives way to sunshine. I hope BRM4450 is ok he hast been on for a week or more. Sending thoughts his direction

15, cloudy, calm. Low of 5 tonight and then warms up for snow over the week end.
Got to up and start my soup bone for tonight's stew.

CT, I’ve been enjoying seeing the pic you post with the beautiful sun and blue skies but today’s pic, well not so much!

28 heading to 34 and snowing. Predicted accumulation is 2-4 inches but I’m on the southern edge of this prediction so I expect to see the low end. Not that it makes any difference, 2” or 4” it’s pretty much the same. Neither is a big deal.

Enjoying my Folgers and it’s about time to put another pot on. Today starts the Covid vaccines for those 65+ which includes my wife. Locally in this community of 500,000 they are doing 500 shots per day with 3000 total available. We’re both planning on getting online at 9:00 am to try to get an appointment for my wife. Not very confident tho......

Hey, I got lucky this morning, well not that way, while I was braising my beef for the stew Carol made me
a three egg omelet with tomato bits, asparagus, and cheese. Washed it down with Folgers with almond milk.
You know, that's not so bad with coffee.
Got about two lbs. of soup bone and beef simmering now, (low and slow to get all that goodness out of the bones).
I'm going to simmer that all morning and then start adding the veggies this afternoon.
