Our Morning Coffee and Weather

28 and as it starts to get light I’m seeing a possibility of clear skies?????? Forecast is for a cloudy day so I’m not too hopeful. Had a great sunny but crisp day yesterday. I finally got off my lazy butt and spend the day outside getting equipment winterized and put away. Our early winter this year caught me with my pants down so to speak and i got delayed a few weeks. I will be putting my mower away dirty as I have stored all my garden hoses. Still have a few pieces of equipment to prep for winter that I will get to today.

Sunny with a high of 43, right now breezy and 28, not much planned for today, actually had Mass in the church, just Skype with Denmark and football. Everyone have a great Sunday!

Raining with a high in the upper 30s. They put off the snow predictions until Tuesday but I am not worried about it sticking. I have everything taken care of with the exception of removing the mower deck and installing the snowblower on the lawn tractor. I intend to do that over the holiday. Got my grocery shopping taken care of. Not seeing any shortages at the store at this time. I have a turkey coming from work tomorrow and I bought another frozen bird this morning to add to the one in the freezer. That gives me 1 to bake and 2 for smoking, I do enjoy smoked turkey.

Two days of running about this week. Taking my mother for yearly eye checkup ( me too) and then tomorrow each got a back to back dentist appointment for regular six month checkup and cleaning.. hopefully we will dodge the covid bugger while out. Then back to the brush the rest of the week. Coffee is good this morning. November is seeping away....tick tock tick tock..... enjoy the day everyone

Coop, if you can, drive a metal post in the ground, hook at the bottom.

Good idea but the ground was just too soft. What finally worked was I t owed it up the hill with my zero turn mower with the Wife steering the four wheeler.
It's in the shop now and it seems it was the starter solenoid that burned up. Now to get a new one. I had to remove the dump box in order to gain access to the engine.

Carol loves to make candies and such so she made candied spicy pecans yesterday.
I have a bag of them to eat with my cookies this morning. They're really good.

Basking in the sunshine drinking my coffee oh that’s right I’m inside cause it’s only 19 degrees outside. High today is 55, everyone have a great day!

55 now, only supposed to get up to 63 today .... next significant chance of rain not until Thanksgiving morning .. .. breakfast has come and gone, Folgers continues to flow .... only thing on tap is to pickup our soon to be grandson at his daycare later this afternoon

32 heading to 36. We had about a half inch of wet snow overnight and I’m depending on Ma-nature to melt if off so I don’t have to touch the shovel.

Might head into town today to look at dining room tables. What did I do to be punished so severely?

36 frosty degrees on its way to 58 later today with no chance of rain .... looks like Fall is on its way out and Winter ain't too far down the line .... Maureen is to be out and about this afternoon, I may not leave the house all day .... breakfast has come and gone, watching the movie Captain Horatio Hornblower made in 1951 staring Gregory Peck and Virginia Mayo ...

32 heading to 38 with rain/snow coming in tonight. Then several dry days ahead including Thanksgiving. Nothing on tap for today.

38 on its way to 64 later today in central NC with almost no chance of rain .... getting ready to crank up the smoker to cook tomorrow's Thanksgiving turkey .... not much else on tap for today .... sausage, eggs and Folgers have come and gone .... watching the 1953 movie War Arrow staring Jeff Chandler, Maureen O'Hara and Jay Silverheels
