In the 30's this morning with heavy frost. Supposed to get up to mid 50's this afternoon and will be headed to the range later.

speaking of shortages ... it is reported that something over 10% of the world's coffee supply comes from areas heavily impacted by Eta and Iota .... just how much and for how long the storm damage will limit production has yet to be determined .... in addition, the extent of any possible price increase is still unclear

above freezing this morning with predictions calling for a warming trend .... nothing much on tap for today .... 40 right now with it supposed to reach 66 later today .... no more subfreezing temps in the 10 day forecast .... only rain called for during that period is a 35% chance on Thanksgiving morning ... regular breakfast has come and gone

26 with promises of sun breaks today. Yesterday’s promises did not happen here at home but made a trip into town and there were a few sunny spots around. High is supposed to hit the mid 40’s but I’m sure if we stay cloudy/upper foggy today that won’t happen. Hope to get out and work on some outdoor winterization projects that I avoided yesterday.

Coffee and the last of the Orios. Done with them.
Sunny but windy today. Glad I got the leaves all blown yesterday.
As I finished blowing leaves I stopped the four wheeler at the barn to drop
off the blower, and as it sat there smoke started coming out of the engine
compartment. Electrical fire. Won't run now. I used the winch to get it
into the barn and left it. I suspect the coil. I'll look at it the afternoon.

45 on its way to 71 later today under a beautiful, clear sky in central NC .... our next 70 degree day in the forecast is on Thanksgiving .... cleaning our 45-70 is on tap for later this morning ... eggs, sausage and Folgers this morning, good tomatoes are getting hard to find

Cold. 20 degrees, windy, sunshine.
Trying to figure out how to get the four wheeler up the hill and into the shop where I can work on it.
Nothing to hook onto with the winch. I'll figure something.
We're locked down again. Can't go out for lunch or for brunch tomorrow.

21 and finally some blue skies. Slept in this morning so I’m making this report after dawn. Yea!!! Looks like I will spend the day outside doing the fall projects I ignored the last two gloomy cold days. ( I was promised sunny skies )

Low 30’s and a 30 mph wind but that won’t stop me from loading up my powder horn and heading to the range with my new Frontier rifle. Tea in Henry mug and then back to the early 1800’s. Report later.

43 on its way to 68 later today on our side of the mountain in central NC under a beautifully clear blue sky .... shotgun and rifle cleaning on tap for this afternoon as Baby Back Ribs are smoking on our Traveler .... its nice, for a change, to have some that need cleaning .. .. bacon, eggs, and sliced tomato have come and gone .... Folgers remains actively on the scene ..
