I'll start w/ a 73 Caprice I work on from time to time, clean low mi. Pa car.
And my Cousins project. A 1929 Harley-Davidson Model J-D
I twisted wrench in the late 60's for Chry dealerships and got to drive all the super cars at that time . The 426 HEMI Road runner was the best of race cars at that time . In 1966 I had a new 289 Mustang GT with a 271 hp 4 speed and in 1969 I special ordered 69 Nova with a 396 4 speed 425 hp and in 2 months later I put roller rockers on it . and I put 80,000 miles on that car in 5 yrs . When I sold it it still didn't burn or leak oil either . .My 2011 Mustang I drive now I got NEW is the best super car I ever owned . It has all the bells and whistles get over 27 MPG and run from 0 to 170 MPH in 26 sec and runs 11.69 in a 1/4 . I can change the tuneup from street car to race car in 10 mins from the front seat and NEVER get my hands dirty .DWD445 wrote:Cool stuff txgunrunner !!
