it was also a time of heroes .... I became a Ned Jarrett after that wreck after seeing him wade through fire to pull Marvin Panch out of his car

Right on Grunt. Remember when Kezlowski used to wreck folks to win and Carl Edwards had had enough and went out on the hunt and wrecked him in a spectacular crash. Carl was put on double secret probation for that.

heck of a prerace show .... Bagpipe playing Amazing Grace, National Anthem sung by a cancer survivor who the doctors said would never sing again, Start Engine command by the 4-star General head of the Joint Chiefs .... hope the race proves to be a good one

Just got finished watching the 3:10 To Yuma while the rain delay was on. Great movie and now plenty of race left to watch.
