Loading up .45-70 rounds using 500 gr. bullet with 50 gr. of Alliant Black MZ powder. Haven't tried the big torpedo's with the MZ but have so with 405 gr. bullets. These for the 1895 High Wall.

I loaded some 45 ACP, 45 LC and 44 SPCL over the last couple of days. I'm taking a rest today. Going to the range tomorrow to shoot 'em all up!
Jake
Sounds like a load of fun!

Nice 40-S, I have the same aluminum funnel with about the same dents. Who made the 405s?

Been loading up the 45/70 bullets I got today. Trouble is, once I get that done, I have to go out & empty some brass & start over again.
It's a dang rotten job, but some bodys' gotta do it. Right?

Use to shoot 540gr Paul Jones Creedmore bullets with 68 grains of swiss 2FG. But had to pull that bullet out to the second grease groove to do it.
