Hit a snag on my reloading for 45/70. My powder funnel won't work, too small for the mouth of the brass. Had to order another one from Mid Way. I use the aluminum funnels to eliminate static.
Should be here in a few days, then back to business. Always something, LOL
I do the same thing. I've been using an old Coleman aluminum fuel funnel to transfer powder.
I remember when a man could just walk into a store like Longs, or Payless and buy reloading supplies. The good ole days.
LOL, well, you got one on me. Never thought about that, I've probably got one laying around somewhere. Certainly used one many times. Next time, I'll try to scratch my head a bit longer, LOL.
True, reloading shelves are getting scarce. Most LGS now are rather small & just can't afford the inventory costs. The Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet is the only dependable store close ( 30 miles or so ). They do have a nice selection tho.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Funny, I had a problem with the other end when I used to load for 45/70. The rim was too large for my loading tray and had to buy one of the RCBS oversize loading trays...... :D

Had the same problem with trays, also, had to get larger shell holder jaws for my Co-Ax press. Lot of things don't fit, LOL.

Well, curiosity got the better of me, so I went out to the shop, browsed a while, and.....found my old Coleman funnel. This this is around 55 yrs old or more. Of course, I found it a bit too late for the ongoing project, but it may come in handy down the line
somewhere.
Thanks, for the heads up. :D

I also have a nice Stainless Steel coffee cup, that came off an old Aliadin thermos that I use around the Bench just for powder.
