What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Finally got my part for my press this AM. Now starting loading 50 pcs. 45/70. Gonna have to be trimmed a bit. Give me something to do for a while.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Using MBC #1.25-20, 85g RNFP, I've got a H4895 load for1440fps and Trail Boss load for 1150fps.
Both accurate enough for Silhouette.

Spend alot of time at my bench during the winter months, evenings after work. On the nice days I go out back to my range and unload them!! Gonna spend the day out there today.

Hit a snag on my reloading for 45/70. My powder funnel won't work, too small for the mouth of the brass. Had to order another one from Mid Way. I use the aluminum funnels to eliminate static.
Should be here in a few days, then back to business. Always something, LOL

I do the same thing. I've been using an old Coleman aluminum fuel funnel to transfer powder.Grunt67 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 1:06 pmHit a snag on my reloading for 45/70. I remember when a man could just walk into a store like Longs, or Payless and buy reloading supplies. The good ole days.
