I don’t really need to lose more weight. I need to grow another four inches taller.

I think the line we are seeking here is...
... "No Doc, you are mistaken. I'm not Overweight. I'm Undertall."

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I’m not short for my age I’m short for my weight. I was 179.2 this morning going through a few days of drastic lowered calories. I hope to hit 175 in a few days then maintain for a month.

I might as well wait until after next week to try and lose weight. Gonna be a lot of good family cooking all next week.

I am going to work VERY hard over the rest of this month to maintain my 1500 calorie limit while all the family is here. The RN who set up this plan for me all those years ago, told me it's fine to have a cheat day now and then, like Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner. A cheat day, just don't Grossly overdue it. A few generous portions and "A" dessert for your reward, not half the turkey, trough of stuffing, bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy, two cakes, and a pie. LOL.

I'm back down close to 200 for the first time in many years but not because of a diet. I think the weight loss is from disappearing muscle mass. Seems to be a lot of loose wrinkly skin where biceps and triceps are supposed to be.

Re: DIET is a four letter word.
Body Fat Percentage has a lot to do with it. The Marine Corps used a Height Weight Chart for fitness as a guide. When you were THIS tall you couldn't weigh more than THIS much. When I was stationed in Hawaii, we had a Gunnery Sergeant that was a Body Builder/Power Lifter that lived in the gym. He had VERY little body fat, however he was WAY over the recommended weight for his 6'4" height. His biceps were bigger than Most Marines thighs. When they recorded his Height and Weight HQMC sent back a message saying he needed to lose weight or be discharged. He sent in some photos from the last body building competition. You know, the chest, back, side poses in the speedo. Zero body Fat, and all veins and muscle. (He won the competition.) His request for a waiver was endorsed by the squadron, group, and base Commanding Officers.
The waiver came back saying his maximum weight was waived as long as he didn't exceed xxx body fat.
I'm seeing a lot of sag where there used to be muscle, happens when you get old and broken.

Re: DIET is a four letter word.
I took a physical where they weighed me in water to determine my body fat. At the time I was very lean.
