So true.
Like the weight difference between the BH and the King Cobra.
The only real thing I like about it is the wood furniture.

I want to see one in the flesh before making a decision, but I’m definitely interested.

Could also be I was not too awful happy about the mass at the front of the rifle - it was an adj butt (tube and pad only) and the Mlok fore end. Balance was likely not to my liking. It was fun, don't get me wrong, just not enough for me to want one. And I don't want the 9mm Homesteader, I would like a 45ACP, just cause

Not everyone likes the same thing. Its all good. I dont like the tacticool levergun look either. Tacticool belongs with AR’s not leverguns. But apparently there is enough people out there that do or Henry would not have built them.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Well yes, because that's the board we are in.markiver54 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 5:36 pmFrom previous posts, I assume you are talking about the "Homesteader" 9mm carbine ?navvet8189 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 5:33 pmJust curious how many in this forum are waiting to get their hands on one? And if have already purchased one, where did you find it? I have been checking daily on most of the more common on-line gun dealers and they all say sold out.

I have seen Camp gun used a couple of times here. Please, what exactly is a camp gun?Mike_S wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 10:43 amI like it's looks well enough. Non threatening, campy. It's what I would choose as a camp long gun.
I've had the Ruger - too heavy, bulky, works flawlessly, buddy has one, it is boringly accurate, just not my choice for my purpose.
I still have a 9mm AK pattern firearm, it's intended purpose is decidedly not campy!
All that said, I would choose a Homesteader 45 ACP over 9mm for a camp gun.
My two cents (or so). I've added a suggestion on the Henry site. Now waiting...

From previous posts, I assume you are talking about the "Homesteader" 9mm carbine ?

Well yes, because that's the board we are in.

SORRY BUD!!
I realized it was an oversight as noted in a previous post that I guess you missed.
