Will do. I think a trip to the Henry online store might be a good thing too. Need a carry case for it, that brown one looks mighty nice. And the mug, and the sign, and...oh no, this is how Henryholism starts...

...well the Henry on-line store does not sell into Canada...bummer. But, the good news is I'm off to Cowtown tomorrow and won't come back without a shiny new BB 45 Colt. Bought some ammo tonight, Hornady 255 gr LFN, and will get some Winchester ammo tomorrow too so I can try them out, see what shoots best.
:D :D :D

Too bad about the on line store. I am glad you are getting your new Henry though. Can't wait to hear about it and see it.

I am now the proud owner of the Henry Big Boy 45 Colt!!! Picked it up about an hour ago. Rifle, nice carry bag, cleaning kit and some 250 gr LFN rounds.
Won't be home until tonight but I checked it all over in store, action is very smooth. Real nice. Stock was a little loose, but once the screw was tightened up its fine. Might need a little locktight if it loosens up again. Beautiful rifle. Got lots of attention in store for sure. It's a looker.

Congratulations, they sure are pretty rifles.
We'd really like a range report when you get to the range,
Thanks,

Thanks. I have to pay my membership for the local gun club. I don't think they start up until May cuz we had 4 ft of snow in April a few years back. This month is unpredictable. But once I check the bylaws maybe I can shoot at home a little. I will report when I can for sure. But it sure is cool to handle and look at too. Hefty for sure.

Boy if I could shoot at home I sure would.
Whenever you can a range report would be great.
Thanks

Ya I'm not sure what the rules are around my place. We have some land but also neighbors not too far away. We have 10 acres but 2 lane highway runs along front. Depends what the RCMP have to say I guess. If they're ok with it I sure am.
