What should I do today? Finish reloading 45 colt or work on our taxes?

Ya, but it looks like I'll be digging up the main water line to house. We have a bubbler going.😒

Well, that don't sound like much fun, just how deep are y'all's waterlines bury over there?
About 18" around here is plenty deep to prevent freezing.

Yeah, water line main bubbler doesn't sound like a good time.

Well, I loaded 47 25-20's, most with IMR4198, and a handful with 2400, and a 63 gr cast rfn.
While sizing and expanding I found 3 split cases.
I am also ordering some 86 gr cast from MB co.

It’s been a couple months and approximately 1,500 30-30, 223, 357, 38 and 9 combined and time for some changes. Started with a blemished Lee 4000 that hasn’t been perfect but has been very good. I disassembled the press, cleaned and aligned on reassembly. Took the stand/brace apart and did a little modifications with drills and a band saw. Ran a few rounds through it and it’s a world of difference.

My advice to others starting out, take your time making changes, most errors are user errors, and pay attention.

No wasn't fun. Previous home owner put the line in when the house was built. Some 55 years ago. DYI depth varies. This spot was about 20 inches down. The exhausting part was digging out super saturated heavy mud trying to locate the exact location. Found a 3/4" split in old poly pipe. The easy part, cutting it out and using an Apollo telescoping splice.

I may get to that 45 colt reloading later today after all.

At least you were able to fix it. That splice must have been pretty helpful in making the job "easier".
