This is my 100 year young neighbor taken at sunset.
I'm sure she has quite a few stories to tell and you're lucky to be featured in her latest chapter. Good for her. And you. I'd love to hear her version of a 100 year long road trip.

Gene, did you actually take that young lady to Florida and the beach. Good for you sir. I wish more people cared for
the elderly that way.

BTW, I'm considered elderly.

She has made this trip maybe 20 out of 30 years driving herself and a carload of kids. She knows the route and is a fantastic map reader.

Yes I did. This is our second trip to Florida and we went to Texas once. The van is perfect for these trips as you can sleep and walk around in it.

41 and dark as I’m up way too early. It’s supposed to be a nice day today and for the next several. There was some talk on the news last night that Spokane may see some low 80’s next week.

Leaving today for five days up at the property. Planning on doing some major clean up getting it ready for selling. If the neighbor who is looking for more pasture for his cows doesn’t buy it I’ll go back up and mow the fields and the trails in the trees. Taking a few firearms along for some trigger therapy.

Fair, 39°F, Humidity 65%
Wind Speed NW 9 mph
Barometer 30.09 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.
Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
A beautiful but cool day in the offing.
I'll work on yard and flower gardens and then the gun club this afternoon.
Of course that always ends up with beer and wings with the guys.
