Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
31' and bright through fog with visibly about 1/8th of a mile. Once burned off, sunny and maybe 56'. Probably do potholes in the road after it warms up a bit.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Actually very well. I read all the horror stories that there are about them, but it seems it breaks down to a few folks who didn't follow procedures. It's a Ford Bronco Outer Banks Edition and we like it a lot.
On the old Explorer that I towed previously I had to put it in neutral and leave the ignition on, which often drained the battery.
On the Bronco it electronically shifts the transfer case into neutral and the ignition is off. It actually has an electronic "Tow Mode".
So far we've towed it a few thousand miles with nary a problem.

In a few more days the sun will be rising north of Timms Hill. This is a telephoto shot looking east out out my living room window.
Yesterday’s high was 52F and tonight’s low will be 2F.

45 at 9AM under a gray, overcast sky .... 40% chance of showers this morning but none seen right now on radar .... forecasted high to reach 64 before falling back to an overnight low of 38 .... nothing showing on our calendar that will take us away from home today
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
4” of snow this morning with more on the way.
Low: 3
High: 19
Currently: 11
Feels like: -4
Under a winter weather advisory, looks like shoveling snow is in the forecast. Everyone have a great day!

That’s great and thanks for the info on the Bronco. I really don’t like the Jeep we have for a TOAD and it’s great to know there is another option for towing without the headache like you had with your Explorer. We have an Explorer and decided not to use if for the exact reasons you stated.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 5:56 pmActually very well. Meanwhile, back at the ranch our nice days have begun. Or course first we have to pay the fiddler for the warm sunny afternoon expected with cold overnights due to the clearing skies. 27 this morning but maybe 50 later…..sunny skies above. Several more days of the same are expected but a return to rainy days later in the week.
Think I’ll get out and clean up the lawn today while enjoying the sun and warmth. The dogs will be happy to have the company.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A lare good morning, 40° this AM with a high around 77 later. Pulled the ole Ironhorse, aka the scooter out and took it around the block, actually it's a few miles around it.
Ran fine, probably saddle up after a late breakfast and get a little wind therapy.
