Both wear Nikon scopes and both are tack drivers

Beautiful stock on that one, and I know that you can get lucky and get a tack driver, or get one that is just okay.
I always wanted a #1 in 223. Just haven't come across the right deal yet.

Very nice pair of rifles you have there. Of all the "deer and Elk" rifles I've owned, and that's been several, I only have two left: Mod 94/30-30 and a marvelous shooting Ruger No.1B in .30-'06. They just don't make them like that any more.

Ruger No 1 are classics and they are great shooting rifles generally. Ive owned a few.
