A few pics from today's get together. About 60 folks shootin' and eaten' and talkin'. A few wives, and very young kids. Great people, great food, great shootin', and great weather. I took these just as things were getting started.

It was. And I think I sold a guy on a Henry. He shot my .41mag BBSC, and fell in love, so I expect he'll order something soon.

Hard to say. This one was put together by the guy shooting that .338 Lapua. This was the 1st one near me, but there are a lot of ranges in MS. This range is owned by a local training outfit In Columbus, and they were kind enough to let us use it for free. IFP Tactical: https://ifptactical.com/ . They do a lot of training for local law enforcement as well as private citizens, and church/school security people, and have a very good reputation locally.

And before anyone asks, yes - suppressors, and full auto is allowed. Several folks brought theirs, and everyone shared whatever they brung.

I also found out how my carry ammo (Hornady 9mm+P Critical Duty) performs against a vehicle. Shooting at a old SUV from about 40yds thru a passenger door at about a 20deg angle. Penetrated well but the nose folded over so very little expansion, and it took a slight left turn and dropped a little before burying itself in the opposite door panel. If there had been a person in the seat nearest the door it would have struck at about liver area.

I've shot barriers before with it from square on and it always expanded, so I wasn't really expecting it to fold up like it did. Useful to know stuff like this.

Here's a pic of the same SUV (Jeep) after it got blasted by one of the other shooters with various shotgun rounds at closer range.
