Looks like it will be a beautiful day today. Mostly sunny, a high of 83 and not too humid.

But still a workday, so my coffee is in a “To Go” cup and I’m getting ready to head out. Still, it’s good to be back from Germany.

so today I'm going to go shootin. Hooray.

Predicting severe thunderstorms tonight.

51 and sunny. Maybe 74 later. Supposedly cooling off some over the next few days with rain by Friday. Tea in the usual 'Poppies on Blue' cup.

Had some pretty viscous thunderstorms last night. Several buildings blown down by straight line winds and lots of rain.
No damage here however. Supposed to be nice the rest of the week.

The Little Guy
A man walks into a bar and says, “Bartender, give me two shots.”

Bartender says, “You want them both now or one at a time?”

The guy says,” Oh, I want them both now. One’s for me and one’s for this little guy here,” and he pulls a tiny three inch man out of his pocket.

The bartender asks “He can drink?”

“Oh, sure. He can drink.”

So the bartender pours the shots and sure enough, the little guy drinks it all up.

“That’s amazing” says the bartender. “What else can he do, can he walk?”

The man flicks a quarter down to the end of the bar and says, “Hey, Jake. Go get that.” The little guy runs down to the end of the bar and picks up the quarter. Then he runs back down and gives it to the man.

The bartender is in total shock. “That’s amazing” he says, “what else can he do? Does he talk?”

The man says “Sure he talks, hey, Jake, tell him about that time we were in Africa and you made fun of that witch doctor!”

Well, just came back from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. I have an Aortal Anurism that they have been
monitoring for about fifteen years. Won't get the results for about a week but the last few years it hasn't
been enlarging so I have high hopes it's still the same. If not.....

What a place. When you go int have blood drawn there are at lest two dozen techs doing it all in their
own cubicle. If your appointment is at 9:00. they call your name at 9;00. Something to see. Very
efficient.

Well Phooey! The Mayo just called and said the test results were not good and I have to go back
next week and meet with a Surgeon. The Wife is scared I can tell.

One thing for sure, if I have to have the surgery no better place than the Mayo in my book.

a fine facility it is .... several of my wife's relatives live in that general area and universally have high praise for it .... hopefully whatever procedure you need will be taken care of quickly

Morning 71° here and rain. Think I will spend part of the day at the loading bench.
Gonna work on some of these 270 gr 41's, and some lite loads for the t-4.
