Re: Stanley Cup
Watched until the end of the 3rd and went to bed. I guess SL pulled it off in OT. Glad to see Charlie Coyle get his first SC goal. He played here in Houston with the Aeros.

I must admit, I do enjoy seeing Marchand failing miserably...

He is a piece of work and there are a few tough guys around in the past would have taken him out.

Can't say that I've watched many NHL pregame shows, but this series is shaping up to be a good one!

Re: Stanley Cup
Glad my B's have been putting on exciting entertainment throughout the playoff series. As I posted weeks ago, Charlie Coyle and Tukka Rask would need to play "out of their minds" for the Bruins to be successful... they certainly have done that! It seems like everyone in Massachusetts believes it will be over this Thursday night with Boston winning tonight and on Thursday.

Personally...I hope you're wrong. Probably not though.Pitchman1968 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 5:42 pmGlad my B's have been putting on exciting entertainment throughout the playoff series. I dis-like them as much as the Patriots! Guess the Bruins can't be accused of deflate-gate though.

Re: Stanley Cup
So much for over thursday night. I watched some of the game and the Blues had a great 3rd period. Boston was not able to get anything going in the final 10 minutes.

Re: Stanley Cup
If the Blues can keep out of the penalty box, they have a chance. 5 on 5...Blues look pretty good!

Re: Stanley Cup
They pretty much owned the 2nd period, too, at least in terms of intensity and swarming the Bruins' end of the ice. Great series so far!

Re: Stanley Cup
we haven't watched a match since the Hurricanes were eliminated ... it does sound like they are having a good series
Re: Stanley Cup
Tough, gritty and so well played. Non-stop, go get-em action. Don't watch 2 seconds of it during the season, but this is just hockey at its best.

Re: Stanley Cup
Blues power play is terrible. You don't win cups like that.

Re: Stanley Cup
That is true. Their PP does suck...however they look good at 5 on 5. Don't quite understand that one.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 8:59 pmBlues power play is terrible. You don't win cups like that.
