May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;

God bless all of our Veterans and those who serve our country in any capacity.

God bless my late husband, old friends and family members.

Thank you for your service.

Hugs and blessings especially to our Vietnam Veterans, like my late husband, others that I know and knew (Dead now.) in person and online, who did not get the same WELCOME HOME and thank you for your service comments as others in past and present wars and conflicts received.

Love and peace,

Old Lady Cate

Nam Vet,

Your poem/prayer written above was one of several readings that I personally read at my late husband's private memorial service.

Take care and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

Cate

Appreciate your celebratory poem, Nam Vet, and your salute to the Iron Rangers.
And I ditto Cate's thanks to you, and Henry88's prayers, too.

Prayer of gratitude for the service and sacrifice of your fallen brothers.
For your loss, and all those who loved them as well.
For all of our warriors who's souls went home before their bodies came home.
May they all find peace in mind, spirit, and soul.
May those lost rest in peace.
May those who miss them find comfort in remembrance of the love they shared.
Welcome home to all, both here on earth and to those who went home before them.

Thanks very much, Seabee. Wish this were included in the Memorial Day "remembrance" thread I posted earlier. http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=700
So important, as we are most grateful to those who have given all....for our freedom and for this great country we live in.
