I am glad I have never made a mistake, sounds painful. Like the house I bought 9 blocks south of the Indianapolis Race Track. Seemed like a good idea, I could walk to the track and avoid all the traffic, use my own bathroom. 4 weeks prior to the 500 it became nearly impossible to drive to and from my house after 7:00am until 7:00 pm and many friends from out of town came down for various events over the years. Haven't even watched the race since I moved back to Michigan. We can only hope to remember and learn from our mistakes but not repeat them, and I don't repeat them, I just do other stupid things. Brand new ill advised stuff that seems ridiculous afterward. I am looking forward to this supposed "WISDOM" that is supposed to come with age. Wondering if I could ever live that long.
Another one of the many things I was taught while in the service from one of my sergeants. I want you to evaluate everything you do with a critical eye forwards, backwards, and upside down always striving to do better the next time. I was very junior at the time and moving through the ranks it was one of those important life lessons that served me extremely well.

I hesitated for a moment before clicking on this thread and now I regret reading it. My wallet is aching over the urge to buy Uberti Cattleman revolver. Now it's time to go shopping for a Uberti single action wheel gun.
Good shooting NCG.

There nothing like a great SA 22 and the great fun one can have at the range. Taking your time and enjoying yourself and the fact it just doesn’t cost that much.

Like I said, this Uberti 22 LR goes with me on every range trip, now. No matter what else I am shooting, I always find time to run a few shots though the Cattleman. Love being able to go 12 rounds without reloading, too. Would make a great steel target plinker.
