Our Memorial Weekend Saturday shoot.....

Post by fortyshooter » Sun May 26, 2019 10:23 am

Was able to get my son and my friend Richard out to the range today to enjoy some shooting and cooking brats on the grill.
A neighbor near my range brought his M1 Garand and Carbine by also and we had a great time of it!
I brought along my M1 Carbine and Ruger 1911 and my son was trying to dial in his new laser sight on his Sig P365.
Buddy Richard had his Ruger 1911,a 9mm Carbine and a Marlin .44 Mag lever rifle.

Yes it was a bit hot but we had some great fun!!

Enjoy the videos!

Looks like alot of fun forty. How does your sun like his sig p365? Does he use it for conceal carry and has he shot it much? I see there has been some issues with that gun.

Yeah the trucks are off to the side and the target area was way past where they sit.
No holes in the trucks unless you have a finger on the trigger BEFORE getting on target...which you shouldn't.
Any new shooters start at 25 yds or less and not 50-80 yds.

Yeah we all enjoyed the afternoon.! Neighbor Dave brought along that old blue water pressure tank from his well setup for a target.

Yes he carries the Sig 365 and for it's size it shoots well. The trick with lasers is shoot your gun well with the factory sight consistently using good trigger control and THEN get the laser to target just a hair below the factory sight impact.
