It will be about 80 and sunny today. There’s a nice breeze. Great day for a hike.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Heavy rain today. The ground is saturated and not absorbing any more water so it's all running off. Serious flooding coming up I'm afraid.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Touchy subject around here Mark. In fact we live on a lake and I have two canoes and two boats.
Once canoe and one boat stay down by the water permanently and one canoe and one boat travel.
Kinda hard to explain that to the Wife. I had a sail boat too, but sold that to appease her.
As far as flooding, we live about a hundred feet above the water. No worries there. In fact
if I flood you'd better build an Ark.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
.
We had a "500 yr" flood here in Feb 1996. Every low lying area in the TV was underwater. The TV was a huge shallow lake. We're 20 ft above "100 yr" flood level. 15 of that was underwater. Another 5ft and we would have had water coming into the house. We were surrounded with one way in and out through about a foot water of standing water.
