Boys and girls, we have a star in our midst. I know you have all been touched one way or another by our friend Evan. Aside from many enjoyable and instructive posts, he has gone out of his way to improve our experience here.

The towel gig alone has occupied time, thought and expense. I, for one am deeply appreciative of his efforts.

I don't know how yet, but, I want to repay him for his consideration and effort. Any ideas would be welcome. Yes, we can talk in front of him.

Some of us will be gathering with him late this summer. It would be a good time to embarrass him. Open conversation here is ok. Pm me if not.

How about a full forum petition to Henry Pride to include the orange towel in their line.
Of course that might impose too much stress on him unless profit would offset the effort...just thinkn'.
He does deserve something for his efforts so far though w/o a doubt!!

Aw, c'mon, y'all! It's just been a fun and crazy project designed to connect this place to a tangible "thing," to extend the identity and camaraderie of the Forum "beyond the keyboard," as the saying goes. At times it's been an "activity trap," but it's been great to see it come to life, with DaytimeDave's input along the way. He's the Art Director, in fact, and responsible for the embroidery thread on the orange towel being black instead of the tone-on-tone orange that I did on the early prototypes. Brilliant!

There have never been any grand plans to make it bigger than it is, and besides, I'm sure the HenryPride folks have people knocking down the door with cooler ideas than this. Not to mention that, if everyone could buy one, it wouldn't be special and unique to this group anymore, would it?!?

Anthony Imperato and 22Plinkster have their own personalized samples, so maybe we can look forward to one (or both) of them making its way into one of the Henry videos one day. That'd be kind of cool!

I appreciate the good vibes, which is what makes this place special, and I'm gratified that those who have embraced the whole thing are happy with the outcome. It's great to see them "in the field" and getting put to use.

Very nice quality towel. What can I say, but 'tis quite a sharp-looking Henry Orange color.
