to say that Ruger's 10/22 has been a popular line of rimfire rifles would be a major understatement .... until a few days ago I didn't know that Ruger offers an easy to install replacement trigger .... replacing Ruger's OEM trigger with one of their BX-Triggers yields a major improvement .... for anyone who shoots their 10/22 very much, I believe it is well worth the money .... per its literature :
"Improve the trigger pull on your Ruger 10/22 or 22 Charger™ pistol with the BX-Trigger. Light, crisp Genuine Ruger Factory Accessory breaks between 2.5 and 3 lbs. (approximately half the force needed with the factory trigger) plus has minimal overtravel and a positive reset. Rugged design delivers reliable, safe operation that exceeds industry standard for drop testing. Self-contained module is easy to install."

Re: Ruger® 10/22 BX-Trigger
I agree. We added the BX to ur mid 80s 10/22 SD and it made a huge difference (mostly because the original was so bad
). Basically a drop in mod. Very easy.
Re: Ruger® 10/22 BX-Trigger
I installed one and it does make a great deal of difference, and the price was reasonable.
Re: Ruger® 10/22 BX-Trigger
I have one too...great mod for the money.
Re: Ruger® 10/22 BX-Trigger
I installed a keystone heavy barrel-Magpul Hunter stock-and the Ruger BX trigger-all together makes quite the target rifle.
