Prize Arrived from Henry

My 2nd Prize Scabbard along with a Hat and Mug arrived yesterday. Haven't opened the boxes yet, but will sometime this week-end. I now have all 4 including the Towel. Will also be taking some pictures soon. Thanks to all who worked on the Contest.

As time allows I will also be contacting Henry to thank them directly.

That's great CGF. Received my wind vane today!...pretty cool. Will be posting pics as well.
Was a nice gesture by Henry to include the hat and mug with mine also!

Hopefully Mcderf will be posting that he got my...er...his rifle too!

It shouldn't be too long for him. Just a bit more than shipping it out.

I"m glad to hear you both got your winnings. I'm interested to see if they are as nice as I thought they were.

P.S. I ask that every prize that Henry gives away here includes a coffee mug. It's kind of a Forum thing. They are great mugs.

I always wanted a Mug as well.

Part of the problem is that my Henry Rifle works so flawlessly, I never needed to contact them, lol.

CGF, I sent them an email saying just what you said. Thanked them for their caring about our satisfaction.

They sent me a cup and hat!

I like it a lot Al. Seems to be well made. Will take some time to see how well it holds up to the weather.
Timing on the Oil was great, as I will probably put a light coat on it after I mount it!
Fact is; I'm glad I won it and would not discourage anyone from getting one, however, at $125.00 it is a novelty that my limited budget probably would not allow. It IS pretty cool though.
I intend to post pics outside soon but we are socked in with rain this weekend. Supposed to be dryer next week.

I actually entered the drawing with my eye on the rifle scabbard. I thought it would be neat to have, especially with my growing lever collection.
I never really entertained the idea of winning the rifle. I didn't think I'd get that lucky. LOL

Though I haven't seen it yet, I have seen an example at the annual NRA meeting in Indianapolis, and I wouldn't trade the rifle for anything.
It is a beauty indeed.
