stage 2, pretty much a replay of the first .... Fords dominate early .... pit strategy puts the Chevys up front at the end .... Chase gets his first stage win of the season

Finally got a pretty view of the Back Stretch, looks like all the bleachers are now gone.
Looks like Venders down on the turn 2 end, and motor home parking from there down to turn 3 area.

What a race.

Great win for Chase and great win for Chevrolet.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Jeffery Earnhardt running up front as high as 5th.

He got some good recognition from the announcers to boot.

the announcers said that in a meeting yesterday with all of the Chevy teams, the drivers were told that if they push anyone across the finish line, he better be driving a Chevy .... it also came out that the Ford and Toyota drivers where pretty much given the same message from their manufactures ....

Just checked, and he's 12th fastest in this final practice.
He usually does better in the Fall race though.
Hope he at least gets a top 10.

Another top ten for Rowdy. That's eleven in a row I think. Never done before.

They were talkin about that the other day, and I think your right seems like ten was the record.
I didn't get to see any as I was at work.
And I haven't seen anything about it other than Truex had won.

I saw some of it. I was working in the shop with the IPhone tuned to Sirrius NASCAR and would pop into the house now and then to catch up. Good race.

Rowdy was on the move until he made that pit box error, but even then was moving up fast til he got together with someone and got the tire rub.

I like the fact he never gives up.
