25F this morning and we got about an inch of snow. Not the foot of snow forecasted. However I guess it played hell with the highways last night. Lots of accidents. Icy roads and high winds. Power out in several areas. I really socked the hay to the horses last night as they have shed their winter hair now. Didn't see anyone shivering this morning and they still had hay left. All good. Bet there's lots of cold newborn calves this morning. Tea in Henry mug, and then reload more ammo. Might go shoot later, a cold snowy day is a good day to have the range to myself.

We are looking at a 20-degree increase today over yesterday. The weather prediction for the area today is 87 F.

Easter weekend we were looking at snow showers in the mountains. Up in Illinois, my family had 5” snow last weekend.

Weather this year is kind of crazy.

48 and sunny. 69 later. Sunny weather these past few days and projected for the rest of the week is very nice but also very unusual. Has me worried about fire danger later on if this keeps up.
