It must be great to have a shooting range in your backyard. Unfortunately, in the Netherlands it is not allowed to shoot in a backyard. Shooting is only allowed on an official licensed shooting range. (and my backyard is not big enough anyway :-) )
Jan from The Netherlands
- Henry "Small Game" .22lr
- A few CZ rifles and a pistol
- Uberti Cattleman revolver
- Two Diana Air rifles, one in .17 (it is from 1974) and one in .22 (also old)

In the 80s I was on a joint NATO Op with multinational forces. There were a couple Platoons of Royal Dutch Marines on our ship for three weeks and one of the Corporals and I became good friends, stayed in touch for years. A couple years ago he and his two sons came to visit, spent two weeks here. They liked everything, but the shooting, was their favorite. :D
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
