Very nice. Always had a love for mustangs. One of my earlier vehicles as a young Marine was a 64-1/4 Mustang. 6 cylinder, 4 speed manual trannie. Fun to drive, no air, am/fm cheap speakers plain white paint, vinyl bucket seats, but it was mine. When it began to have numerous mechanical problems beyond the pockets of Marine PFC, a friend traded me a plain Jane Ford that ran well...

Very cool forty! I had a '69 302. Crager wheels. I loved that car. Even bone stock, it would scoot pretty good.
Yours is very nice! I know it is fun to drive!

Yeah the Mustangs (mine and probably your's forty) were made at the old Dearborn Assembly Plant (DAP) in the Ford River Rouge Complex not far from Ford's house.

From Wikipedia, "By 1987, only Mustang production remained at the Dearborn Assembly Plant (DAP). In 1987 Ford planned to replace that car with the front wheel drive Ford Probe, but public outcry quickly turned to surging sales. With the fourth-generation Mustang a success, the Rouge was saved as well.........The plant was open from 1918 to May 10, 2004, with a red convertible 2004 Ford Mustang GT being the last vehicle built at the historic site. Demolition of the historic DAP facility was completed in 2008. All that remains is a 3000 place parking lot to hold light truck production from the new Dearborn Truck Plant."

My first car was a '67 mustang notch back.
Had factory air and PS, 289 auto, but she would scoot.
I put Crager SS wheels on it.
Put many a mile on that thing.

We went to the big 100th Ford birthday celebration in Dearborn back in 2003 and took a tour of the plant.
I owned a 2001 Mustang Bullitt at the time and a large group of us Bullitt owners had traveled up there. That was a great time!
I got to bang off a few gears on Woodward Ave. while there!
Sold the Bullitt a few years ago.
