Game 7 between the Capitals and Hurricanes is going into overtime .... in the 3rd period the Canes scored 2 but the Caps looked better to me .... they missed a few very short scoring opportunities and the Hurricanes were able to force it into overtime

The OT win for the Stars was pretty exciting and I'm not really a hockey fan. Not sure how far they will go.

yep .... going into Double overtime ... Hurricanes dominated the first overtime, did everything but score .... the players on both teams have to worn out .... they just finished their 4th 20 minute period

before the start of the series, a person could have gotten some really good odds for a bet on the Hurricanes

It is the one sport that to me is better live, as a spectator. When in Chicago, our office had 4 season tickets for the Blackhawks. I was usually the lucky one to get them once a week. Lotta fun!
Most other sports I watch like the NFL, I would rather be in the comfort of my own home. Hockey, to me is different! Very fun to be there. Course, I was lucky...box seats, center ice.

Oh yes, definitely agree! I try to go to 3 or 4 games a year, the only bonus of being a Buffalo fan is that tickets are always pretty cheap haha

Game 1 between the NY Islanders and Carolina Hurricanes .... skated in NY .... Canes pull it out 1-0 Overtime victory .... hard skating by both teams and both goalies played extremely well
