Sir Henry, you did get the middle name correct. Jerry William Carter, thus, JWC. My father, me, my son, and my grandson, all have the initials JWC, with William & Carter being the same in every name. James, Jerry, Justin and Jude are the "J's".Sir Henry wrote:Can I guess your name? James William Clark?JWC wrote:Mine is really well thought out...ok maybe not. Just my initials and my birth year. It is easy for me to remember....I think

From the Humble Pie song "The Sad Bag of Shaky Jake" but I, unfortunately, misspelled my namesake.

Ah, thirteen plus years in Marine Corps Green... suddenly interrupted by a medical discharchge.
Twenty two surgeries... service connected.
And... old guy....
I used to have a signature line...
Grumpy Ol Marine on all my forums years ago... after having to go in for yet another surgery... a friend told me I should change my signature to BOM... which I did. The next time I joined a forum...
... and I have used it ever since.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.
