ah got it. here its called vapor or moisture barrier. do it here on the inside of all exterior walls and interior walls/ceiling surrounding a bathroom with a shower or tub.

On another note the contractor has my new shop all insulated, the electrical is done, the attic vents installed, and poly going up now. Next will be the metal ceiling and walls and then the furnace. I'm really looking foreword to having a heated shop. Meanwhile most of my power tools are stored out in the barn.
Yes Poly. When it gets to thirty below even a small air leak is a major thing. We put the insulation in and then put a vapor barrier over the whole thing even sealing outlets with tape. Makes a huge difference.

Currently at Shasta California. Was 30 overnight. Currently 38 and snowing heavily. A few feet of accumulation from days and weeks earlier. Some photos at my shooting buddy's house in the hills and the range we went to yesterday off highway 89. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny, no wind, day perfect for shooting. But we had to snowshoe to get in. Range report later in the appropriate topic.

Here in Shasta, it's 30 and overcast. Maybe 50 later. After the snow, yesterday it warmed a little. Overnight everything froze up. Very icy road conditions right now. Likely to wait for things to melt a bit before heading back north today.

RR, you must be getting what we had yesterday. 57* and sunny here today, but it’s back to rain for tomorrow apparently. I’ll make good on the sun today I hope. Yesterday was a blow out spent playing with the Marlin, picking up materials and getting my truck back from the dealer. $6000+ for the second major tranny job in 92,000 miles. I wish Henry built 1 ton diesel 4x4s!

Time to go make some espresso...

BBSC .44 Magnum with Skinners
Marlin 1895GS .45-70 w RPP Cloverleaf
Marlin 336BL .30-30 w Skinner LoPro 2 and Sig 2-7x
1912 Winchester 1894 .30 WCF

Well the rain has held off just long enough that I got the grass mowed for the first time this year.
Just finished an egg sandwich, now what?
