Pink Towel Story of the Week

Post by ESquared » Thu Mar 28, 2019 1:40 pm

As a few of you may have seen, last weekend, Markiver and I were back and forth a bit about brand new Nikon Buckmasters 3-9X40 scope he was looking to sell. We reached an agreement quickly, exchanged addresses and mailed what we needed to right away, all is good. Mark was even kind enough to send me a picture of the nice packaging he did on the box - beautiful job!

What his pic didn't really depict, however, was the SIZE of that box, as there was nothing else in the frame for reference. He shipped it to me on Monday of this week.

After the whole "Pink Anniversary Towel" broke yesterday, Mark sent me a note - "Check your mailbox yet?" Due to all the other stuff going on, I'd lost track of it, so, about 9:30 last night, I retrieved my mail and Mark's package.

Well, it was HUGE! I know about how big a scope box is, so I was totally thrown by what was going on. It had heavy craft paper on the outside, two boxes carefully taped together on the inside, and, wrapped around the Nikon scope box, I found THIS:
Markiver Pink Bath Sheet 001.JPG

Not just a pink bath towel, but a huge, pink bath sheet! And not something he pulled from his linen closet, this was a brand-new, store-bought pink bath sheet!

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up...

Evan told me about this last week when I ordered my range towel. Funny as heck! The pink has grown legs and is off and running.

When will Mags post a picture of his "rifle, range report, reload setup, whatever, that includes the new range towel?"

Immaterial. We want other members to rush to get their range towel, so that they can get first bragging rights for being the first to post. I don't count, except as one of 'The Enablers'
